    York House

    15 Clifford’s Street, YO1 9RG

Take the A64 towards York, (junction 45 off the A1 (M) Northbound, or via the A1237 outer ring road of York). Take the exit from the south of the city, signed A19 York city centre, (this is also the junction where York Designer Outlet is situated). Take the first exit off the roundabout, A19 towards Fulford; continue through Fulford following towards the city centre. At the Mecca Bingo building on the left, the road then merges into Fishergate. Take the centre lane as the road reduces to two lanes following the road to the left but keeping to the right hand side, this leads to some traffic lights at a small roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout. Drive past Clifford’s Tower on your right and you will see York House, also on your right hand side, just a little further down the road.

Long stay parking is available at St Georges Field YO10 4AB. We do not have parking on the premises.

If you come on the train we are no more than 10 minutes’ walk from the station, about the same in a taxi due to the traffic congestion in the centre of town. When you come out of the front of the station turn left past the Royal York Hotel and continue towards the town centre shortly passing through the limestone archway. At the traffic lights you will see opposite you on the right hand side the large Aviva insurance building. Continue ahead and walk along Rougier Street and George Hudson Street past the bus station on your right. At the end of the road turn left and walk along Micklegate and Bridge Street over the river keeping on the right hand pavement. Pass the Slug and Lettuce on your right, follow the road around to the right on to Clifford Street. York House is located on the left, opposite the dungeons and Kuda.
