Goodramgate Apartments Terms and Conditions:
By making a reservation with Goodramgate Apartments, you agree to accept our terms and
conditions.
Goodramgate Apartments reserves the right to refuse any reservation at the discretion of the
Management.
1. Reservations:
Full payment is required at the time of booking, using major credit or debit card; no cash
payments are accepted.
Goodramgate Apartments have 2 booking rates available to guests. These are Fully Flexible
and Non-refundable.
Fully Flexible Bookings : fully refundable up to 14 days before the check in date. Payment
taken at the time of the booking being created.
Non-refundable bookings : non-refundable bookings are non-refundable from the time of
booking confirmation. Payment taken at the time of the booking being created.
Any booking made within 14 days of arrival is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation
of a free-cancellation booking made 14 days or more prior to arrival, full refund of the
reservation will be made.
We have properties in 3 locations. Please check your reservation details or call our friendly
reception team to find out the address and check-in details which apply to the location of
your chosen apartment.
Special requests and additional services may be available; please contact us for further
details.
We offer a wide variety of packages to enhance your stay, with prices available on our
website.
Please be aware that packages may contain allergens and be mindful of this when
ordering. The packages are all subject to availability and from time to time this may mean
they are unable to be booked.
Goodramgate Apartments reserves the right to cancel a booking if we are unable to
process the full payment.
Luggage may be stored prior to check-in from 12noon subject to availability, please call our
reception prior to check in to ensure this will be possible. Please contact the property to
arrange this. The property can store luggage at the main reception after check-in at £3 per
bag on weekdays and £5 on weekend or race days.
Please note some of the buildings are Grade II listed and over a hundred years old. Some
rooms have slightly uneven floors and steep staircases. Therefore, guests with mobility
issues or those travelling with young children should take note of this.
Please note that this property can only accommodate stag or hen parties with prior
arrangement.
Cancellation:
Goodramgate Apartments have 2 booking rates available to guests. These are Fully Flexible
and Non-refundable.
Fully Flexible Bookings : fully refundable up to 14 days before the check in day.
Non-refundable bookings : non-refundable bookings are non-refundable from the time of
booking confirmation.
Any booking made within 14 days of arrival is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation
of a free-cancellation booking made 14 days or more prior to arrival, full refund of the
reservation will be made.
If cancelling a booking that has been made through a third party (e.g. Booking. com,
Expedia, Airbnb or any of their affiliates or online travel agencies ) the guest must cancel
their booking with the company they have placed the booking with directly. Cancellations can
only be processed once we have received notification of the cancellation direct from the third
party and the guest via email. Please notify us directly via email once a cancellation has
been made with the website where the reservation was cancelled and we will process the
refund if this is due.
2. Minimum Age:
No reservations are accepted from any paying guest under 18 years of age. Proof of ID
and date of birth may be requested.
3. Security Deposits:
A preauthorisation deposit will be required from a credit/debit card in the bookers name,
this will be requested on the day of arrival or prior to this if required. The preauthorisation is
a temporary holding of funds which is held for the duration of the guests stay.
This preauthorisation deposit could be used in the event of any damages or losses incurred
during your stay.
The preauthorisation deposit amount will vary based on the apartment which has been
booked. Please enquire to discuss the amount required on the day of check in.
The preauthorisation deposit will be released following a satisfactory check of the room
which the guest has checked out from on the day of departure.
Goodramgate Apartments maintains a strict non-smoking policy throughout all apartments
and common areas. Therefore, a £200 charge for any smoking within rooms or common
areas by the guest will be charged if an apartment requires a deep clean.
4. Pet Policy:
Pets are not accommodated in any apartment or common area. Service dogs are permitted
but please advise this upon booking.
Goodramgate Apartments maintains a strict no pet policy throughout all apartments and
common areas. Therefore, a £200 charge for any pets within rooms or common areas will be
charged.
5. Accessibility:
There is limited wheelchair access due to the historic nature of our buildings.
Goodramgate Apartments have no lifts and historic features may be unsuitable for some
guests.
6. Check-in and Check-out:
Check-in is from 3pm
Late check-in after 6pm will be only available if confirmed prior to 6pm with our reception
on the day arrival. If self check in is provided, this will be via pin coded locks; details will be
sent via email or through the booking platform used to make the reservation.
Check-out is before 10 am; late check-out may be available for a fee and subject to
availability. Late check-out is before 12 noon.
7. Bag Storage:
Customer Bag storage is available at our Reception (please call reception to arrange) after
check-out at a cost of £3 per bag/suitcase midweek and £5 per bag/suitcase on weekends or
race days. If any luggage is not collected by 5pm on the same day, this will not be able to be
accessed until the following day at 9am. .
8. Guest Accommodation Information Book:
Each apartment has a Guest Information Book containing essential details for your stay. In
a situation where this is not possible, the guest information will be sent digitally to the guest.
- Emergency contact numbers provided for after-hours assistance can be found within this
book or via the digital copy if provided instead.
9. Wi-Fi Internet Connection:
While we make every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi connection is available at all times, Wi-Fi
cannot be guaranteed. Goodramgate Apartments is not responsible for loss or damage to
guests' devices or software at any time or in any apartment, or while connected to a network
service.
The use of the service is at the guest’s own risk.
WIFI User names and Passwords are provided in the Guest Information Book which is
located in the apartment. In a situation where this is not possible, the guest information will
be sent digitally to the guest and this will include the WIFI username and password.
Internet Viruses
It is possible to catch computer viruses by accessing a web page or by downloading or
running an infected program. Whilst Goodramgate Apartments has taken steps to ensure
that the pages on this web site are free from infection, such is the nature of the Internet that
no assurance can be given that the pages of this web site are indeed free from infection. It is
a condition of us allowing you free access that Goodramgate Apartments will not be liable for
any loss or damage suffered by any person accessing this web site or any third party
resulting directly from the transmission of a computer virus resulting from the accessing of
this web site. Please note that the information available on this web site may be incomplete,
out of date or incorrect. It is therefore essential that you verify all such information with us
before taking any action in reliance upon it. It is a condition of us allowing you free access to
the material on this web site that you accept that we will not be liable for any action you take
in reliance on the information on this web site.
10. Smart TVs:
We encourage guests to sign out of all smart TV applications before they check out of the
accommodation. Goodramgate Apartments is not responsible for any misuse or loss of login
details of any guest who has remained logged in to their user profile.
11. Accommodation:
Apartments are for temporary or holiday use only, not as a principal or additional home or
for the use of your organisation.
Guests will not be entitled to a tenancy or statutory security of tenure. Charges apply for
failure to vacate. All apartments are occupied as serviced apartments and are only to be
used as temporary or holiday accommodation for you, or your organisation. They are not for
use as the principal, additional home or residence of guests; you will not be entitled to a
tenancy or an assured short hold or assured tenancy. No relationship of landlord and tenant
is created and no statutory security of tenure exists now or when the period of occupation
ends. If you or any member of your party fails to vacate at the end of the period you will be
charged the appropriate accommodation charges for the continued period of occupation. No
persons other than the guests have the right to use the apartment. These conditions
constitute an excluded agreement under s. 3A(7)(a) of the Protection from Eviction Act 1977
(as amended) and cannot be construed as an assured tenancy under the Housing Act 1988
(as amended). - Only guests have the right to use the apartment.
12. Keys:
Please note that all guests are responsible for their keys. Any guest that loses their key and
requires assistance regaining entry to their apartment out of the reception hours will be
charged a call out fee of £100.00.
Any keys that are not returned on check out will be subject to a £100.00 lock replacement
charge. This will be partially refunded if the key is returned to the reception by 1pm on the
day of departure.
13. Legal Disclaimer:
Public Indemnity and Public Liability
Goodramgate Apartments does not accept any responsibility or liability for acts of omission
of third parties, which may prevent or disrupt a Guests booking. The booking contract is
limited to the rental of the Property and associated facilities only. The information and
descriptions supplied are believed to be accurate and are offered in good faith. It may be
possible that certain facilities or features may not be available on occasions due to
circumstances beyond Goodramgate Apartments control for which we accept no liability. In
addition, no liability can be accepted by the Landlord for any injury, loss or damage to the
Tenant, any member of the Tenant’s party or any visitor to the Property arising out of or in
connection with the use of the Property or associated facilities. The Tenant must ensure that
all visiting children are supervised at all times.
14. Force Majeure:
We cannot be held liable for events beyond our control which include but are not limited to
the following: act of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism,
revolution, the act of any government or authority (including but not limited to refusal or
revocation of any licence or consent), fire, flood, lightning, explosion, fog or bad weather,
epidemic, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas,
water or telecommunications), renovations and building work undertaken at the property or
in the local area, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, blockade.
Booking Terms
Guests of Goodramgate Apartments are advised to carefully review and understand these
terms before making a reservation at Goodramgate Apartments. Upon booking, these terms
and conditions are agreed. From time to time these terms and conditions may be updated.
Our reception closes at 18:00 and guests will be unable to check-in after this time unless
prearranged with the property management at least 24 hours in advance. If guests arrive
after 1800 on their day of check in, without a pre-arranged late check-in time, will need to
find alternative accommodation.
Public parking is available a short distance from the property, this will need to be booked
separately at the guests expense. Unfortunately, we do not have car parking available for
guests.
